From years in hospitality to leading logistics and ecommerce, the common thread has been looking ahead to uncover underlying issues and solve everyday problems. Curiosity and a bias for action have been constants in every role.
At Bella Coola Heli Sports, I managed high-value heli-ski and summer adventure bookings and built real-time scheduling tools so guides, pilots, and guests had clear, reliable information when it mattered most. At RMU Outdoors, I coordinated global freight, inventory, and ecommerce growth, helping scale online revenue while balancing production, stock levels, and marketing campaigns across multiple regions. Spending so much time inside small, fast-moving organisations taught me how data sits behind almost every decision: pricing, staffing, inventory, guest experience, and long-term strategy.
My hospitality background gave me a strong sense of how people interpret information, not just how systems store it. Those experiences are what led me toward formal data science and analytics, taking the same curiosity and operational mindset and pairing it with Python, SQL, statistics, and geospatial tools to build models, dashboards, and analyses that teams can actually use.
Today, I’m focused on applying this mix of operational experience and technical skills to roles in data analytics and environmental decision-making, helping organisations turn messy, real-world data into clear, confident action.
